The Story

A world-class rig, named after his mom.

Jackson wanted a sound system since he was tuning car subs in high school. The community kept him going, and now he shares the sound with it.

The Founder/CEO Jackson Maier started Funktionality Presents in 2025. He has always wanted a sound system since high school when he was tuning his car subs in his Subaru Forester.

Years later he was met serious negative life changes. He unfortunately lost his brother to suicide in 2022. Then a year later he lost his mom to the same. The community has kept him going and he was able to purchase and sound system through an inheritance.

A negative thing happened but inevitably a beautiful thing blossomed and he now able to share the love with it. He named the sound system after his mom Lenee' (pronounced LEN-AE)

Catch this world class sound system at all your favorite festivals. He acquired the first chunk of the rig through his good friends over at Not Sure Productions. He then acquired the subs from one of the biggest companies in America, Lost Horizons Productions. They run main stage at Infrasound Festival and they also run the Grove stage At Shambala.

Jackson is very grateful for the help and support with project and is blessed to changes live with his rig.

Straight talk on pricing. Venue conditions, production scope, and travel distance move the number. Reach out and we'll work something proper out. Capacities are accurate, but headroom is how you get the deep, physical sound this rig is known for.

The Rig

Chest-thumping lows, warm mids, and tops that never bite.

Six subwoofers move the low end as pressure you feel through the floor. The Res 4 tops hold the mid range warm and the highs clean at volumes where most rigs turn to mush.

If the venue can't power it, we bring the power. The rig runs through a properly powered amp-rack system, so when a building or site comes up short on circuits, our generators cover it.

Work With Us

Crew, DJs, and volunteers.

Every show needs more hands than it looks like. Someone runs cable, someone stacks subs, someone keeps the coffee alive at load-in and the water alive at load-out. We're looking for people who want to be on that truck: crew who know a snake from a stage box, DJs with a mix to share, and volunteers who just want to see how a real system gets built and torn down.
